Sgt. František Lehký crashed in the SPAD serialed 9152 on landing on August
28th, 1924. It was evident that the landing strip would be overshot and the pilot decided to go around for another landing attempt, but the engine could not
generated the needed power and the aircraft was damaged. The three-colour
camouflage scheme of this aircraft was complemented by the white numeral
‚23‘ on the sides of the fuselage and the regimental insignia, a black, twin-tailed lion in a white field.
