HISTORY

Lt. Kafka took a look at the sample

of the „Riders in the Sky 1944“

book, which will be part of the

Limited edition

kit Nr. 2121 (March 2018).

With Martin Nademlejnsky Mr. Kafka also went through some of the

sources used for the preparation of the camouflage schemes and decals.

He even recognized himself on one of the photographs in the

„B-24 Liberator in RAF Coastal Command Service“ book by JAPO.

Karel Vorlicek presented to the guests the camouflage schemes of the

prepared machines. Even after more than 70 years, at the age of 94,

Mr. Kafka has been able to add a number of interesting information

about the Liberators.
