Althoughourpaintscanbesprayedstraightfromthebottle,werecommendthinningwithMMPThinnerfor
theabsolutebestresults.Inaddition,addacoupledropsofMMPPolyurethaneMixAdditivetoyourthinned
paintforimproveddurability,levelingandsandingqualities.RecommendedRatio:2-3DropsMMPThinner
to 10 Drops MMP Paint
DuetothenatureofourMMPformula,tipdryisatanabsoluteminimum.Werecommendsprayingbetween
10and15psi,withlowerpsiforfinelines.AlthoughMissionModelsPaintsareveryopaque,sprayinginthin
coatsgivesthebestresultsandwillnothidethefinestofdetails.Itisrecommendedtosprayinlightthincoats
-- the thinner the coat, the better the results.
Withproperprepourpaintscanbeusedonallsurfaces,andusingourMMPPrimerisrecommendedforbest
performanceandadhesion.MMPpaintscanbesprayedoverallotherprimersandpaintfinishes,andarealso
designed for superior blending and custom mixing. Once cured, our paint will accept all clear coats.
The Mission Models Paint system is safe on all surfacesandmaterials.Exceptionalbrushpaintingcanbe
achievedstraightfromthebottle,orthinasrequiredtosuityourneeds.FigurepainterscanaddadropofMMP
Polyurethane Mix Additive to slow drying and blending times.
PRIMER:
MMPPrimerisa2-partsystemthatmustbeactivatedusingMMPThinneronly.BecausetheMMPPrimeris
thickerthanourpaint,itmustbereducedwithourMMPThinner.Oncethinned,thePrimerisactivatedandready
touse.Therearenotricks,followtheformula,adjustdependingonneed,andspray.(Note:DONOTaddMMP
Polyurethane Mix Additive to the primer.)
MMP Primer can ONLY be mixed with MMPThinner for proper activation (no substitutions).You will find a
durableandlevelfinishthatrequiresnosandingunlessyouhavecertainrequirements.TheMMPPrimerwillnot
hidethefinestofdetailsanddriestothetouchin15-20minutes.RecommendedRatio:3-4DropsMMPThinner
to 10 Drops MMP Primer
THINNER:
MissionModelsThinnerisadual-purposeproduct--athinner/reducer,andanairbrushcleaner.MMP
Thinnerisacrylicnon-solventbasedandodorless.NOTE:Ifyouover-thinthepaint,itwillbecomemore
transparent,notcoverproperly,andpossiblyrun.Ifyoufindthattobethecase,simplyaddmorepaintto
yourliking.Thepaintshouldsprayniceandsmooth,andbeopaqueunlessyouarepurposelyover-thinning
tocreateamoretransparentmixfortintingoranyothereffectyoumaydesire.Donottrytocoverinasingle
coat--rememberlessismore.Youcanalwaysaddthinnerasneeded.Recommendedairpressureis10to
15 psi. Recommended Ratio: 2-3 Drops of MMP Thinner to 10 Drops MMP Paint
