Fw 190A-8/R2, Red ‘10’, own by CO of 8./JG 300 Lt. Karl
Spenst, carried a brick red band denoting JG 300 at the end
of Novemeber, 1944. This was changed in December to blue-white-
blue. This aircraft, as was typical for the R2 during this period,
lacked the armor glass side panels.
