painted enemy. The inscription ‘Rammbock’ on
the left side of the fuselage under the cockpit,
needs to be translated more along the lines of
the local culture rather than literally, and in this
case that would be as a ‘virile ram’.
The wing armament of this aircraft consisted of
only two MG 151/20 cannon, with the outboard
MG/FF cannon positions being faired over.
