“I enjoy open hangar days. People come, they look
around, and they are interested. However, even
more I like the model events with Eduard - Model
Accessories that we organize occasionally. We’ve
collaborated like this before with the Spitfire,
Hurricane, Trener series Zlins, and yesterday with
the Mustang. Modelers are disciplined and genuinely
interested, so it’s no problem to allow them close
contact with the aircraft. They can take pictures,
look wherever they want, and there’s no need to
worry about them touching things they shouldn’t
and fiddling with something that shouldn’t be fiddled
with. They’re genuinely interested too, so we enjoy
talking about planes because they’re always asking
questions and it’s usually to the point. We hope this
wasn’t the last event of its kind.”
