MIRAGE IIICJ, No.176, 117th Tayeset, Ramat - David Air Base, 1973
Camouflage on the Shahak appeared in the beginning of 1969. In October, 1973, yellow, black-outlined triangles appeared, to serve as quick
recognition markings to differentiate them from enemy aircraft. These were dropped from use in 1979, at the end of the conflict with Egypt,
after which the likelihood of meeting Egyptian aircraft of the same type diminished significantly.
