region. A Mi-2 helicopter was damaged in the
attack. However, it was an old decommissioned
aircraft that had been stationed there since
at least 2012.
During the observed period, new footage
emerged of several older incidents, some
previously unknown or lacking detailed
accounts. One such incident occurred on
August 22, during a training flight in the
Khmelnytskyi region. A Ukrainian Aero L-39M1
Albatros collided with a stork mid-flight.
The bird penetrated the cockpit windshield,
causing the cockpit canopy to detach and the
ejection seat to activate. For unknown reasons,

Major Pliguzov’s death: The pilot, Major
Sergey Pliguzov, died as his parachute
failed to open fully during the incident.
