Electric trigger (B) – This item serves for
remote control, fire control and pyrotechnic
cocking of the weapon. It includes an
electromagnet with a main trigger tooth, an
electric pulse transmitter, a locking lever, an
auxiliary trigger tooth and an armored cable
for connecting the cannon to the aircraft's on-
board systems.
Recoil Suppressor (C) – This units task is
to reduce the effects of cannon recoil on the
aircraft structure when firing. It consists of
a suppressor body, a suppressor guide rod
with an adjusting nut, and a suppressor spring.
The main assembly connects parts and sub
assemblies that ensure discharging rounds,
ejection of the cartridge from the ammunition
belt, locking of the cartridge chamber, firing of
the cartridge primer, ejection of the expended
cartridge case, as well as parts that protect
the cartridges from deformation and damage
when ejecting from the cartridge belt and
inserting them into the cartridge chamber.
In addition, the main assembly contains the
automation motor (cannon gas assembly) and
separate parts of the pyrotechnic cocking
system.
