Strana 91

The first phase of camouflage application
The Americans discovered a number of
completed Ki-115s in a hangar of the Ota factory.
The individual aircraft showed the process of
camouflage painting. Firstly, the Japanese
national insignia and a black anti-glare strip
were sprayed onto the finished aircraft in
natural metal color. Light gray paint was then
applied to the wooden vertical tail surfaces,
elevator, and canvas-covered ailerons.
