APIL – Armor-piercing, incendiary, luminous
is similar to the standard AP round, with the
addition of a recess in the bottom for the tracer
component. Its task is to trace the actual
impact point of the round as a visual aid to the
pilot (it burns intensely for approximately 5
seconds with a red flame) and at the same time
supports the incendiary effect of the round.
Color marking – painted bullet in the color of
metal (gray or black), the tip of the ballistic
hood is colored yellow.
OFZ

PRAKT – with a spare (inert or non-
explosive) round and igniter used for training
and testing of weapon systems, Color marking:
painted bullet in the color of metal with a white
stripe in the upper part of the bullet body and
a green igniter.
ME – multi-element – rounds are anti-
personnel rounds. Their effective charge
consists of 24 pistol bullets, which are evenly
placed inside the body around the VM-23
igniter device. The weight of one pistol bullet
is 2g. Their ejection occurs between 1.4 and
1.8 seconds after firing, under the action of
gas pressure, from the propellant composition
(not shown).
AR – Anti-radar with dipole reflectors, is
intended for passive jamming of radio
communication signals of aircraft and radio-
guided guided missiles and for creating false
targets on radar screens. Inside the missile
body, three cases with DOS-15 dipole reflectors
are fabricated. These are three bundles with
56 to 80,000 pieces of tinned glass fibers
with a length of 15 mm and a thickness of 35
microns per fiber. A VU-23 type time delayed
fuse is used to sweep them out of the missile
body, which sweeps the bundles within 6 to
8 seconds after firing. Due to the rotation
of the round and the air pressure, effective
jamming surfaces of 3 to 4 m² are created.

Bursting incendiary – with a highly
sensitive igniter BSh-23N for use against
reconnaissance and other types of balloons.
