42 AO-2.5-mm fragmentation aerial bomblets
These are designed to eliminate enemy infantry
over an area of 15 sq. meters, with a fragmen-
tation effect (150 fragments, speed 1500 m/sec).
The body is made of cast steel, without a sus-
pension lug with an AM

A head fuse. The wall
thickness of the bomb body is 14 mm. The stabi-
lizer is winged. Each unit contains K-2 explosive.
Submunition weight: 2.78kg, Length: 378mm,
Width: 52mm, Explosive:0.093kg.
Color coding: one blue band on the cylindrical
part of the body and caliber marking, type of
detonator and explosive charge used, manu-
facturer's code, series and year of manufacture.
