Strana 14

It is intended to destroy covered and
uncovered live targets, vehicles, tanks,
aircraft, artillery, industrial complex
equipment, etc. with its fragmentation
effect and shock and pressure waves.
This weapon has a thick-walled welded
body with a wall thickness of 30 mm,
a suspension system consisting of a single
lug, a head and bottom case for portable
charges and detonators, and a square, sheet
metal stabilizer. It is equipped with TNT or K-2
explosive.
Color coding: two blue stripes on the
cylindrical, front part of the bomb body and
black markings indicating the bomb caliber,
the types of fuse used and the type of explosive
charge, as well as a black inscription on the
stabilizer describing detonator insertion.
This piece of equipment is intended for the
destruction of aircraft out in the open and in
shelters, artillery in unprotected or fortified
firing positions, railway transport assets,
vehicle columns, surface and river ships, fuel
depots, pontoon transports and entrenched
infantry. It is used for bombing from heights
of up to 16,000m and at aircraft speeds of up to
1500 km/h. It is controlled by a fuse in the head
or bottom case of the bomb with a diameter of
52mm, with a transition insert with a diameter
of 36mm.
The unit consists of an oval head, a thick-
walled cylindrical body with a special internal
saw-tooth profile, which ensures ideal
fragmentation of the body during detonation
into fragments weighing 1 to 10 kg, a cone with
a sheet metal stabilizer, a head and bottom
housing and three pieces of suspension lugs.
It is armed with the explosive tritol or amatol.
Color coding: on the dark gray paint of the bomb,
there is a blue strip 15 to 20 mm wide in the
front cylindrical section, though this strip is
not always present, black stenciling indicating
the bomb caliber and type of explosive charge.
The central part of the body bears a stencil
in white indicating the typical time of the
bomb's freefall in seconds (20.92) / height in
kilometers (12). On the opposite side there is
the serial number and the year of the bomb's
manufacture, and also a black inscription on
the stabilizer, describing about the insertion of
detonators.
