This weapon is intended to destroy air-
ports, bridges, railway junctions, trans-
port hubs, etc. by the action of a detonati-
on shock wave and shrapnel. When it hits
the ground, it creates a funnel 3 meters
deep and 8 meters in diameter (volume
approx. 49 m3). It has a welded steel body
with a wall thickness is 6 mm. The bomb
head and the rear cone with the stabili-
zer are welded to the body. They contain cases
for portable charges and detonators. Porta-
ble charges (detonators) are inserted into the
bomb at the production plant. The stabilizer
is cylindrical with 4 wings and 4 additional
stiffeners. The suspension device consists of
two lugs on one side, three on the opposite.
The explosive is tritol. APUV-1, AV-1D/U as well
as other types of detonators can be used.
