KANADSKÉ MUZEUM LETECTVÍ A KOSMONAUTIKY
The De Havilland DH-60X Cirrus Moth is one of many sports and recreational aircraft in the museum’s collection. It was placed into storage in 1942, and 20 years later, its owner, C. F. Burke, donated it to the museum. The aircraft was subsequently restored by former De Havilland employees. The museum’s collection includes several different versions of the De Havilland Moth.
This 1937 Lockheed L-10A Electra made history thirty years after entering service. In 1967, All Pellegreno and her crew completed a successful circumnavigation of the globe, following in the footsteps of Amelia Earhart. In the museum, it is displayed in the livery of Trans-Canada Air Lines.
November 2026
In the December issue of our newsletter, we will take a look at post-war jet and transport aircraft, the space exploration section of the exhibition, and, most notably, its storage facility, which houses other unique exhibits.
To be continued.
