NATO Tiger Meet 2016 Zaragoza and the Mi-35 Coded 3366
Recently, I was asked for my personal recollections of the Mi-35 Hind coded 3366, known due to its later tiger camouflage. Back then, in 2016, after a long time and after a difficult approval process, it was supposed to be the bird that received a completely new camouflage scheme in line with the type connected with Tiger Meet events. This was due to its planned participation in the NATO Tiger Meet 2016 exercise.

Recently, I was asked for my personal
recollections of the Mi-35 Hind coded
3366, known due to its later tiger
camouflage.
Back then, in 2016, after a long time
and after a difficult approval process,
it was supposed to be the bird that
received a completely new camouflage
scheme in line with the type connected
with Tiger Meet events. This was due to
its planned participation in the NATO
Tiger Meet 2016 exercise.
Mi-35 coded 3366 was part of
a group of newly delivered helicopters,
acquired as part of the repayment of
the Russian Federation's debt to the
Czech Republic, in September 2005, to
the then 23rd Helicopter Air Force Base
in Prerov-Bochor. It bore the standard
camouflage scheme consisting of dark
green, medium gray, dark gray on the
upper surfaces and light gray on the
lower surfaces. Its appearance did
not change even after the transition to
a new location, in 2008, when all Mi-24V
(Mi-35) helicopters were transferred to
the then 22nd Air Force Base, in Namest
nad Oslavou.
