The system assures optimum seat height with espect to the height of the pilot. The adjustment system is controlled by an MP-150D electromecha-
nism, mounted on the KSM, the main element of which is the
D-22TF electric motor, which controls the vertical movement of the seat body, with a travel range of 100mm. Both extreme positions are defined
by limit switches. The system is controlled by the pilot using a switch on the left side of the cockpit.
The system includes the dual ejection handles with locking levers and a ball lock, which is connected to the seat ejection system by a cable. When
the system is in a tensioned state, the handles are locked by this ball lock in the seat bracket. When the locking levers (handles) are pressed and
they are pulled upwards, this movement is transferred via the gear to the shoulder strap mechanism and at the same time the hand limiters are
extended and the explosive charges for ejecting the cockpit canopy are activated via the traction system. After the canopy is jettisoned, the seat
ejection safety is overridden. When the handles are moved further, the ejection mechanism is unlocked and the seat itself is ejected.
The pilot's seat restraint system consists of a lap belt, operational and emergency shoulder harnesses, and leg restraints.
The lap belt restraint system is controlled by a lever located in front of the PPK semi-automatic devices on the right side of the seat shell.
Using a ratchet system, two ropes connected to the parachute straps can be controlled (shortened or lengthened).
